Resin Care

Resin Care Guide

Caring for Your Memorial Jewellery & Keepsakes

Your memorial piece holds deep meaning. With a little love and mindful care, it can remain beautiful for many years to come.

Jewellery Care

To protect the resin and sterling silver in your keepsake jewellery:

  • Avoid water exposure
Always remove your jewellery before showering, bathing, or swimming. While the resin is water-resistant, it is not waterproof. Prolonged exposure—especially to hot water or steam—can cause clouding or softening.

  • Keep away from products
Please remove your jewellery before applying hand sanitiser, lotions, suncream, deodorant, perfume, or cleaning products. These can dull the resin over time.

  • Remove for physical activity
Take off your jewellery before gardening, lifting, sports, or any activity where it may get scratched or knocked.

  • Avoid direct heat and sunlight
High heat and UV exposure may cause softening or discolouration. Avoid sunbeds and direct sun for long periods. Store your piece away from windows, radiators, or hot surfaces.

  • Store with care
When not in use, keep your jewellery in the box provided. This helps prevent scratches, tarnishing, and damage from other items.

  • Clean gently
Use a soft polishing cloth (included with your order) to clean the silver. Do not use silver dips, chemical cleaners, or anything abrasive on the resin.

Note: Sterling silver naturally tarnishes over time due to contact with air and skin. Regular gentle polishing          will help keep It bright.

Resin Keepsake Care

Your keepsake gifts are made with the same attention and quality as our jewellery. To help them last:

  • Keep dry
Do not submerge resin gifts in water.

  • Protect from heat
Avoid placing resin items near direct sunlight, radiators, stoves, or fireplaces. Excess heat can cause discolouration or warping.

  • Clean carefully
Use a soft cloth with mild soap and water to clean gently. Never use chemical sprays or harsh cleaners.

  • Prevent scratches
Handle your keepsakes with care, and display or store them away from sharp or abrasive objects.

If you're ever unsure about how to care for your piece, please feel free to reach out. I'm always happy to help you keep your treasured keepsake looking its best.

With love,
